Unskilled manpower recruitment for Gulf employers
Nobody writes press releases about the helper who keeps a site clear, or the packer loading the last truck at 2 a.m. Yet every Gulf project leans on people like them. We find those workers in towns across UP and Bihar, make sure they're fit and their papers are ready, and send them over. Some clients take five at a time. Others take a few hundred.
- 5 to 500 per order
- 90-day replacement
- ₹0 charged to workers
Overview
What is unskilled manpower recruitment?
Put simply, it's hiring for jobs where nobody expects a trade certificate. Think site labour, cleaning, packing or washing up in a hotel kitchen.
KDA Hiring is a licensed agency in Lucknow, registered with the Ministry of External Affairs. We find unskilled workers in India and place them with companies in all six GCC countries. Each person's fitness and attitude is checked face to face.

Why India
Why Gulf companies hire unskilled workers from India
Indian workers have been part of the Gulf story since the oil boom of the 1970s. Ask a facility manager in Dubai or a contractor in Riyadh and most will tell you their crews already include plenty of people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. There's a reason for that, and it isn't only habit.
Language is a big part of it. Hindi and Urdu are heard on work sites and in labour camps across the region, so a new arrival from Gorakhpur or Siwan can usually find someone to show them the ropes on their first day.

Roles
Unskilled roles we recruit for
These are the jobs Gulf employers ask us about most. If the role doesn't need a trade certificate, there's a good chance we can fill it.
SitesLabourers and helpers for construction crewsGeneral labourer
Whatever the site needs that day. Shifting materials one morning, clearing debris the next, and helping wherever a pair of hands is short.

Works alongside masons, steel fixers and carpenters, mixing, lifting and fetching.
Cleaner
Offices, malls, hospitals and residential towers, usually through FM contractors.
Housekeeping attendant
Makes up rooms, cleans corridors and restocks linen in hotels and hospital wards.
Kitchen helper
Peels, chops and scrubs pots so the chefs can keep cooking through the rush.
Steward

Don't see your role? Ask anyway.Send us the job
Someone who isn't fit, or never understood the job, often leaves in the first month.Screening
Unskilled doesn't mean unscreened
There's no trade test for a helper, but plenty can still go wrong. This is how we cut that risk.
Fitness check
These are physical jobs, so we start with basic fitness. Catching problems here also means fewer nasty surprises when the Wafid medical results come back.
A real conversation
Every candidate sits down with one of our recruiters. We want to hear that they understand the work, the long shifts and the summer heat, and that going abroad is their own choice.
Passports checked on day one
A passport that expires in four months, or an address that doesn't match, can hold up a file for weeks. At this level it happens more often than you'd think, so we look early.
Basic orientation
On top of the government's pre-departure session, we run our own short briefing on site safety, hygiene and what's expected at work.
Choosing a level
Unskilled or semi-skilled: which do you need?
It's a question we get a lot.
If a mistake on the job would cost you materials or rework, you probably want semi-skilled workers.
| Compare | Unskilled | Semi-skilled |
|---|---|---|
| Qualification | None needed | Trade experience, often with an ITI certificate |
| How we screen | Fitness check and face-to-face interview | Practical trade test plus document checks |
| Typical roles | Helper, cleaner, packer, steward | Mason, electrician, welder, driver |
| Time to deploy | Usually our quickest category | A little longer because of trade tests |
| Best for | Volume work and support roles | Jobs where a mistake costs time or money |
Need both? Most of our construction and FM orders mix the two. See all skill levels.
Bulk orders
Bulk unskilled manpower supply
Opening a new site or starting a cleaning contract? Big orders don't have to begin from zero. We keep in touch with candidates across UP, Bihar and Rajasthan who already hold passports and are ready to travel.
Selection runs in batches. If you'd prefer 40 workers in the first week and the next 60 a month later, we'll plan departures that way.
Example: a 100-worker order

Fair recruitment, from the first conversation
Unskilled workers are the people illegal agents target most. We take no money from them, full stop.
Before anyone signs, one of our team sits with them and goes over the pay, the shift length, where they'll live and how long the contract runs. Every placement is then registered on eMigrate.

What we tell every worker before they fly
A worker who knows what to expect settles in faster and stays longer. That's good for them and good for you.
How hot it really gets
Many first-timers underestimate a Gulf summer. We talk about drinking water through the shift and the midday work breaks that GCC countries enforce in peak months.
What the contract actually says
Pay, overtime, rest days, food and accommodation. We go through it line by line until they can explain it back to us.
Their passport stays with them
Holding on to a worker's passport is against the law in most GCC countries. We make sure workers know that before they leave.
Where to turn for help
Every worker leaves with our phone number, the contact for the nearest Indian embassy and details of MADAD, the government's online grievance portal.
For employers
How employers can speed up an unskilled order
Most delays we see could have been avoided at the demand letter stage. These small things make a real difference.
Spell out food and housing
Workers ask about this first. If the demand letter says clearly whether meals and accommodation are provided, candidates decide faster and fewer drop out later.
Offer a salary people will accept
We'll tell you honestly if a figure is below what the market will bear. A slightly better offer often fills an order weeks sooner.
Plan arrival dates with us
For larger orders, tell us whether you want everyone at once or in groups. Your camp and supervisors will thank you.
Name one contact on your side
Things move fastest when a single person can approve candidates and chase visas from your end.

FAQ
Questions about unskilled manpower
Can't find your answer here? Write to us and we'll reply within 24 hours.

Need a crew on the ground?
Tell us the headcount and the start date. We'll tell you how fast we can fill it.
hr@kdahiring.comWhat counts as unskilled manpower?
Any job where you'd hire for stamina and attitude rather than a certificate. Labourers and helpers are the obvious examples, though kitchen hands, packers and cleaners fall into this group too. What we screen for is whether the person is fit, reliable and willing to learn.
How many unskilled workers can KDA Hiring supply at once?
We take orders of anywhere between 5 and 500 workers. For the larger ones we select in batches and can stagger departures so your camp isn't overwhelmed in a single week.
How quickly can unskilled workers be deployed?
It's usually our quickest category, since no trade test is involved. Even so, plan on three to six weeks. Visa issuing and medical appointments take up most of that time, not the recruiting itself.
Do unskilled workers need emigration clearance?
Most do. A large share of unskilled workers hold ECR passports, which means they need clearance on eMigrate before leaving India for any GCC country. We file it for every worker who needs it.
Can you recruit women for unskilled roles?
Yes, mostly for housekeeping, cleaning and domestic jobs. One thing to be aware of: India doesn't let women with ECR passports take jobs in ECR countries until they're 30, so we confirm age before anything else.
Do unskilled workers pay any recruitment fee?
Never. Our fee comes from the employer. That matters more at this level than anywhere else, because unskilled workers are the ones most often cheated by illegal agents.
What should an employer provide for unskilled workers?
At a minimum, the salary, working hours, food or food allowance, accommodation and transport to work should all be written into the contract. Clear terms make it much easier to get emigration clearance approved.
Can unskilled workers move into skilled roles later?
Often, yes. Plenty of helpers pick up a trade on site within a couple of years. If you'd like to promote someone, we can arrange a trade test for them in a future order.
