Recruiting for the UAE

Manpower recruitment for the UAE from India

The UAE has one of the largest Indian communities anywhere outside India, and employers there know Indian workers well. Our UAE orders lean towards facility management, hotels and logistics, with steady construction work alongside. Most of them are for Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

How we work

How does KDA Hiring recruit for the UAE?

We recruit Indian workers for companies across the UAE, at every level from helpers to engineers. Facility management, hospitality, logistics and construction make up most of our UAE work.

KDA Hiring is an MEA licensed agency in Lucknow. We find and test candidates, help with degree attestation for skilled roles, and file eMigrate clearance where needed. UAE employers pay our fee. Workers pay nothing.

Zero fee for workers. UAE employers pay our recruitment fee. Candidates never pay us anything.

The market

Hiring Indian workers for the UAE

Hiring for the UAE is a bit different from the rest of the Gulf. The employer applies for the work permit locally, and most of the medical screening happens after the worker arrives, as part of the residence visa. So the India side is often quicker than it is for Saudi Arabia or Kuwait.

That doesn't mean less checking on our side. UAE employers, especially in hospitality and FM, are particular about English, grooming and how people deal with customers. We screen for that alongside the practical stuff.

For skilled roles, degree attestation is the step that catches people out. We start it early so it doesn't hold up an otherwise ready candidate.

Visa and paperwork

Visa and paperwork for the UAE, step by step

Here's how a typical UAE order moves, from your side to ours.

  1. Work permit in the UAE

You apply for the work permit through MOHRE or your free zone and send us the approval with the demand letter.

  2. Screening and selection

We test and interview candidates in Lucknow. You choose who you want, usually by video.

  3. Attestation for skilled roles

Degrees get attested in India and by the UAE embassy. We guide candidates through it.

  4. Entry permit and eMigrate

Once the entry permit is issued, we file emigration clearance for ECR passport holders and arrange PBBY insurance.

  5. Arrival

Workers fly over. You arrange the medical, Emirates ID and residence visa at your end.

Local rules

What employers in the UAE should know

A few local rules and habits that affect hiring.

  • Emiratisation targets

Larger private companies have Emiratisation targets for skilled roles. Most of the jobs we fill aren't affected, but it's worth checking.

  • Different emirates, different rules

Free zones, mainland Dubai and Abu Dhabi can each have their own procedures. Tell us where the job is.

  • Healthcare licensing

Nurses need a licence from DHA in Dubai, DOH in Abu Dhabi, or MOHAP for the other emirates.

  • Customer-facing roles

For hotel and FM jobs we test spoken English and presentation, not just the trade.

Rules change, so we check the current position on every order.

FAQ

Questions about recruiting for the UAE

Hiring for the UAE?

Tell us the roles and numbers. We'll reply within a day with a plan for the UAE.

How long does recruitment for the UAE take?

Often three to five weeks, a little quicker than some GCC countries because most medicals happen after arrival. Skilled roles needing attestation take longer.

Do workers need a medical in India for UAE jobs?

Usually not before travel. For most UAE work visas the medical is done after arrival as part of the residence visa process.

Do skilled workers need degree attestation for the UAE?

Yes, usually. The degree is attested in India and then by the UAE embassy. We help candidates through each stage.

Can you recruit for free zone companies?

Yes. The permit comes from the free zone authority instead of MOHRE, but our side of the process is the same.

Which UAE industries do you recruit for most?

Facility management, hotels and logistics, followed by construction.
