Saudi Arabia has a Skill Verification Program for several trades, so some candidates need to clear a recognised skills test before their visa moves. We prepare them for it. Medicals are done at Wafid approved centres in India before travel.

UAE employers apply for the work permit at their end. Most of the medical screening happens after the worker arrives, as part of the residence visa process, so the India side is usually quicker than for other GCC countries.

Do workers need a Wafid medical for UAE jobs?
Usually not before travel. For most UAE work visas, the medical is done after the worker lands, as part of getting the residence visa. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain do expect a Wafid medical in India first.
Where do Qatar-bound workers complete their medical?
At a Qatar Visa Centre in India. Biometrics and contract signing happen there too. Our candidates use the centre in Lucknow, so they don't have to travel to another city.
Do Indian workers need emigration clearance for every GCC country?
If they hold an ECR passport, yes. All six GCC states are on India's emigration check list, so we file clearance on eMigrate for every ECR worker we deploy.
Which Gulf country hires the most Indian workers?
The UAE and Saudi Arabia have the largest Indian communities in the Gulf, and they're also where most of our own demand comes from.
